MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CONCERT FROM YESTERDAY
As previously reported, Paul suddenly felt uncomfortable after the sound check. Paul suddenly had a pulse of over 200 and the paramedics who were called could not lower the pulse even with medication. He was admitted to the hospital lying on a stretcher. It was Paul's wish to continue the concert without him and not to disappoint the fans.

Before the concert, Kiss' manager Doc McGhee stepped on stage with a little delay and introduced himself. He brought Gene on stage and the latter explained to the audience what had just happened. He asked fans if they wanted to see Kiss without Paul ... and they wanted to. So Kiss played an improvised set as a trio. For "Christine 16" they brought some fans on stage to take over Paul's singing parts.

In the meantime there is also an official statement from Paul, which can be read on his homepsge www.paulstanley.com

PETER CRISS IN THE CINEMA!
(from Babydriver)
2007 seems to be the year for Peter Criss!
After the upcoming release of his fifth solo work "One For All" on July 24th, Peter will soon be seen in (American) cinemas!

"Frame of Mind" is the name of the director Carl.T. Evans drama shot in New Yersey and Peter Criss debuts as a movie actor in the role of "Mike"!

The script was written by Charles Kipps & he is a good friend of Peter, among other things with a song on the new record.

Peter's acting lessons seem to be paying off, because after the US series "Oz" this is already his second notable film credit!

You have to have connections & they seem to be working with Mr Criscuola at the moment!
You can see an interesting photo (Woody Allen & the Psychoanalye send their regards) here ...

PETER CRISS INTERVIEW
(from Mr. Tom / Kiss Forum)
PETER CRISS - THE COMEBACK

For me this interview was something very special, because as a KISS fan, a conversation with Peter Criss, the original drummer of the best band in the world, is always something very special. Of course I knew that Peter would release a new solo album with the title “One for all”, but after Paul Stanley refused almost every interview in this country, I didn't believe in a corresponding intie. But suddenly everything went very quickly on Monday the record company announced that Peter would give interviews in the run-up to the CD; The appointment was made on Tuesday and the conversation took place on Thursday at 5 p.m. The joy was great; I think the interview is very productive

Lets go .rock`n roll

RC: “Unfortunately I haven't been able to hear a note from the new album yet, but I hope you can tell us about the quality of the album with your words

Peter Criss: “After I had done the“ Melbourne Symphony ”thing with KISS and unfortunately it came back to the split, I returned to my solo projects. At that point, I was very upset emotionally after being dropped again on KISS. That was very sad for me, especially since the same mistakes were made as in the eighties. I then decided to record a solo CD that had an autobiographical character and wanted to process all the things like the split at KISS, a homage to my good friend Ace, my life in all its shades. Because of these moods, it turned out to be a pure ballad album this time - with unbelievable effort, a very good sound, orchestral accompaniment, a female counterpart to my voice. I'm very proud of the album and the songwriting, which also gets under your skin a lot. I am also proud that as a drummer I was able to write and sing songs - otherwise only genre greats like Ringo Starr or Phil Collins can do that. "

RC: "What commercial expectations do you have of" One for all ", especially since you know the great success with KISS?"

Peter Criss: “Commercial success is no longer so important to me because I have a beautiful house, beautiful cars, my health and a beautiful wife - that is absolutely enough for me. Of course I hope that the Peter Criss fans - also from the old KISS times - will like this album a lot. I recorded the album under completely different conditions than a KISS album, which was always very expensive to produce. I have a very professional recording studio in my house, where I - sometimes all by myself - rehearse, arrange and record my songs. Of course, that means that I can do a lot in advance so that CD production is no longer so expensive. So the commercial pressure is completely different than e.g. at KISS. But as I said, I would be very happy if the Peter Criss fans buy and like the album. "

RC: "Will you also be present live with the album?"

Peter: “I really don't know yet, because I'm a little nervous and insecure on this point. My musicians urge me too, but at my age you are already wondering whether a tour could turn you into a “joke of your own personality”. I am the original drummer of one of the biggest bands in the world, I was part of a mega band. You don't want to jeopardize this reputation. But I'll think about it again. "

RC: “Let's come to KISS. What was your best experience in your career; what is your worst? "

Peter: “The first time we played in Madison Square Garden in New York and my parents were in the front row, it was a real goosebump experience. More is not possible, because we were celebrated like champions at the time!

My worst experience was on December 20th. - my birthday! That day we played our last KISS show; and Ace was finally kicked out. Then I knew that the KISS reunion thing was unfortunately finally over. "

RC: "In retrospect, would you do any things differently in your career if you had the opportunity?"

Peter: “Of course I had a few personal problems in the early eighties, but I was young and famous - a real superstar! So I celebrated a "Rock'n Roll party all night long" - with all its ups and downs. But to be honest: what's the point? I've lived. What would I change? I would no longer let others control my control over my money and my personality. Now I have 100% control over everything I do. It's very liberating!

RC: "What would you say is the best song you have ever written?"

Peter: “I think that“ Beth ”wasn't a really good song just because of its great success. From the new album I would call it “Last Night”; and another song should be "Blue Moon over Brooklyn". "

RC: "Are you still in contact with Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons?"

Peter: “No, I hardly had any private contact with the two of them during the KISS time either. Ace Frehley has become a good friend of mine, with whom I am still in private contact. I also think that Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons are hardly in private contact anymore, especially since the two pursue completely different business matters. "

RC: "What are your favorite KISS albums, what are the best KISS songs from Peter Criss' point of view?"

Peter: "The best albums are Dynasty, Destroyer and of course Alive 1. As far as the songs are concerned, I particularly like" Strutter "," Black Diamond "," God of Thunder "and" Strange Ways "."

RC: “Many KISS fans still adore you, even though you are no longer there. What do you think?"

Peter: “I'm very happy about it and for this reason - as a homage to the fans - I wrote the song“ Faces in the Crowd ”. It is about my relationship with the fans and describes my feelings when you suddenly sit all alone in a room after a great concert with so many fans. To be honest: the fans are the real stars because they made us what we are today. The song should also say THANK YOU!

Peter Criss could not formulate a better conclusion. In the conversation, Peter Criss turned out to be a very intelligent, emotional figure; and I say in this way: Thank you for this interview!
